Description


The UKNC Winter Conference 2017 is the premier UK event for showcasing your work on III-nitride semiconductors. Open to industry and academia, it provides the opportunity to hear from distinguished plenary speakers, discuss ideas with other delegates and initiate new collaborations.

This year it will be held in the Department of Physics, University of Oxford. Accommodation and the conference dinner will be at The Queen's College, OX1 4AW.

Accommodation is available for the Weds 4th and Thurs 5th Jan. If anyone requires accommodation for the Fri 6th Jan please email admin@uknc.org and we will see what arrangements can be made.

Registration

Registration opens here on 1st Nov 2016. Member & Student discounts are available. An Early Bird discount is available until Mon 21st Nov

The final deadline for registering is Fri 16th Dec.

Please note: accommodation is added at the checkout stage.

There are additional charges if room keys are lost (£48) and check-out after 10am (£60). These charges will be passed onto the individuals concerned.

Abstract submission

Abstracts for oral or poster presentations can be submitted online via the UKNC website until Fri 2nd Dec.

FAQ

1. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There are no parking facilites at The Queen's College or at the Department of Physics. Public car parks are available in the city and there is a Park&Ride scheme.

2. Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?

3. Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, although we will not be able to guarantee additional dietary requirements after 16th December.

4. Can I update my registration information?

Yes. See these instructions.

5. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No.

6. What is the refund policy?

The UKNC will not be providing refunds for this event. However, you may transfer registration to a colleague. Please advise us prior to the event so that the correct conference badge is printed.

7. The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Please let us know if the name on the registration is incorrect so that we can print the correct conference badge.
